Jones 7 project is an innovative, inclusive, community based, out of school initiative that aims to support, motivate, inform and guide urban youth in their journey toward adulthood. The overall purpose of the Jones 7 project is, to provide youth with a clear picture and understanding of the dynamics of planning and preparing for the future. The transition from childhood to adulthood is a precarious journey filled with opportunity and risk.

Jones 7 offers a cross-sectoral and youth-specific approach that encompasses motivating, mentoring coaching and educating youth. This unique initiative endeavours to assist young people in realizing their vision and aspirations.

This workshop will be taken by Tea Ropati .The workshop will focus on exploring how to create new attitudes to the world view of a young person. It will explore attitudes and enable participants to better relate to their peers, teachers, siblings and parents. The workshops will improve the young person’s ability to focus and goal set. The youth who are involved will leave with a renewed sense of direction and purpose, taking away with them tools that will allow them to use in their everyday
