Need some tips on getting the best results? The following information will point you in the right direction. Take a few minutes with your favourite photo-editing program to enhance your picture and your presentation to the world. If you don't have an editing program we suggest you visit www.tucows.com and search for 'graphics' or 'photos' to find a suitable software package. (Please note that DatingBuzz New Zealand cannot provide technical support for photo editing software)

1. Choose Your Photos Carefully
Select a photo, or photos, that are clear and show you off at your best. Ideally photos that only include yourself. Group photos can be confusing: "is that you on the left or the right?"

2. Size

3. Cropping
Crop, or cut, your photo to get rid of unwanted items (the ex boy friend!) or empty space around you in the image.

4. Orientation
Make sure you are the right way up. Rotate your photo before you upload it.

5. Enlarging
Be careful when enlarging an image - the quality can deteriorate remarkably.

Still stuck? Why not have a professional photo taken and digitized? Many photographic stores offer a professional service and will supply with a digital photo on disk or via email.
